I took a day off yesterday despite the fact that there was plenty of wind, as I seem to have been out every day for the past 3 weeks, so a rest was needed and the day was pretty hectic with wedding organisation, family and frineds arriving and a BBQ in the evening.

So today was THE BIG DAY. My wedding ceremony was at 2.30pm so I had to be there by 2pm at the latest, which meant that I didn't have a lot of time to play with on the water...So, after a BIG breakfast in the guest house I;d stayed in the night before, it was off to Borth for some windsurfing. A few people were already there, Steve, Ben from S. Wales and I went windsurfing and Derek went kiting. The winds were good although a little too onshore, but I was well powered up with my 5m and had an excellent session. Most of Anna's relatives came to the beach to watch (or was it to check that I didn't stay there too long??). They seemed to enjoy themselves despite the wind.

I went for a couple of forward loops (even though I'd been told not to risk it!). The first one was pretty untidy, but the second was a decent attempt. Some nice jumps and backside wave rides too, and a perfect way to spend the morning before getting marries.

The wedding festivities all went perfectly as well, and I'm now a married man!!! In fact, the wedding 'partying' has only just finished and its 9pm on Sunday...

Stoked to have had good conditions and a good sail on my wedding day... Lets hope its a good omen for married life in general rather than a last flourish as a single man!
